***** Amazon Review

I bought this in preparation for a trip to Virginia next year. Getting a book like this in nigh on impossible in the UK – the bookshops concentrate on the more popular US destinations.

The book itself is very well written, with some really good recommendations of places to visit. Some of the maps lack a little detail, but I tend to get local maps from visitors’ centres anyway.. Very pleased with my purchase.

This paperback book is An Explorer’s Guide to Virginia by Candyce H. Stapen…. Various sections of Virginia are covered in An Explorer’s Guide to Virginia that feature Williamsburg Virginia …places in the Hampton Roads Virginia area…(Newport News Virginia, Norfolk Virginia, Virginia Beach Virginia etc.), Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington…. I admit that I lived in Norfolk Virginia with my husband from February 2008 until April 2009 (through my time in the navy). Additionally, both my husband and I have seen significant parts of Northern Virginia…. However, I still found it very much worth it to get both the paperback and the Kindle versions of An Explorer’s Guide to Virginia by Candyce H. Stapen.
